Our Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Service (BHRS) for children and adolescents works to identify and address your family challenges in our unique way. We offer prescribed, intensive, and individualized mental health services in the home, school, and community. With us, children will learn to deal with their problems face-to-face when they are young, allowing them to handle life’s challenges better. In addition to working directly with families, we partner with institutions including primary and secondary school systems to help children obtain a productive and rewarding educational experience.

About Us at ASSIST. Inc.
ASSIST began BHRS services in 2007 as part of the Pennsylvania HealthChoices program, providing services to children in Cambria and Somerset Counties. ASSIST transitioned to an Intensive Behavioral Health Service (IBHS) in 2021 obtaining agency licensure in compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. In order to continue to provide quality treatment and support, we first get to know the families and the children involved. Having done so, our mental health professionals and licensed practitioners will develop effective treatment plans and implementation methods. Working collaboratively in a supportive atmosphere, we produce optimal results for the families we help. Our ultimate goal is for healthy children to become healthy adults and eventually parents who are able to raise their children in a healthy environment.
